At Southern Performance Injectors, we’re dedicated to providing the best fuel injector cleaning service. With decades of experience, our team has the expertise to handle injectors from a wide range of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, ATVs, and marine engines.

Maintaining your vehicle’s fuel system is crucial for optimal performance and efficiency. We specialize in fuel injector ultrasonic cleaning, ensuring your engine runs smoothly and efficiently. Ultrasonic fuel injector cleaning is essential and it can be incredibly beneficial for your vehicle.

The Importance of Ultrasonic Fuel Injector Cleaning

Fuel injectors play a vital role in delivering the right amount of fuel to the engine. Over time, these injectors can become clogged with deposits, leading to poor fuel economy, increased emissions, and reduced engine performance. That is where our ultrasonic fuel injector cleaner comes into play. Using advanced ultrasonic technology, we can thoroughly clean your injectors, removing all the built-up grime and restoring them to their original condition.

Our ultrasonic injector cleaner works by creating high-frequency sound waves in a cleaning solution, producing microscopic bubbles that effectively dislodge and remove contaminants. This method is superior to traditional cleaning techniques, as it reaches every nook and cranny of the injector, ensuring a comprehensive clean.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Improved Fuel Economy

Clean injectors are crucial for optimal engine performance, as they ensure that fuel is atomized correctly and delivered efficiently to the engine. When injectors are clean, they allow for a precise spray pattern, which enhances the combustion process. This not only reduces fuel wastage but also significantly improves mileage, leading to cost savings and lower emissions. Regular maintenance and cleaning of fuel injectors can help maintain this efficiency, prolonging the life of the engine and ensuring it runs smoothly.

Enhanced Performance

When you opt for our car injector cleaning service, you are choosing a proven method to enhance your vehicle’s performance. With contaminants removed, your engine can breathe easier and run smoother, resulting in better throttle response and overall performance.

Lower Emissions

A clean fuel system is crucial for optimal engine performance, as it burns fuel more completely and efficiently. This thorough combustion process not only maximizes fuel economy but also significantly reduces harmful emissions that contribute to air pollution.

By maintaining a clean fuel system, you can help ensure that your vehicle runs smoothly, leading to fewer mechanical issues over time. Additionally, a well-maintained fuel system can make it easier to pass smog tests, allowing you to drive with confidence while also being environmentally responsible.

Extended Injector Life

Regular cleaning of your injectors is crucial, as it can prevent the need for costly replacements down the line. By maintaining your injectors in top shape, you ensure optimal performance and efficiency in your engine. This not only extends the lifespan of the injectors but also contributes to better fuel economy and smoother operation.

Our Services

The most common failure of injectors is RUST, which is caused when the fuel system becomes contaminated with water. In order to know whether the injectors are functioning properly, a series of tests must be done.

We test for LEAKS, SPRAY PATTERNS, and FLOW RATES. Our machine uses a range of different engine speeds and millisecond injector opening times to determine proper function. This process is repeated after Ultrasonic Cleaning to ensure proper Flow and Spray Pattern. Tests have shown that 97% of injectors are restored to original functionality after they complete the Ultrasonic Cleaning process. The small percentage of injectors that do not respond to the cleaning either have mechanical damage to internal components (pintle, spring, o-ring), or electrical damage to the solenoid windings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is GDI?

Engine manufacturers are switching to Direct Injection Fuel Injectors to meet emissions standards, better performance and greater fuel economy. GDI or Gasoline Direct Injection is a process where the very fine mist of fuel is injected, at fuel pressures that vary between 80–3000 psi, directly in to the combustion chamber. To achieve these pressures, the gasoline is pressurized by a high pressure fuel pump that is mechanically driven and electronically controlled. Because there is no cleaning agent, such as gasoline, present to clean the valves from any debris, carbon and dirt builds up behind the intake valves and ports. After 45000 miles, engines start losing performance, and It’s costly to fix because you’ll need to remove the cylinder head to remove the dirt buildup from the intake valves and ports.

How can SPI help?

Our GDI injector cleaning and testing service can help save you money. We can service fuel injectors for anyone, anywhere in the world. Please feel free to Contact Us regarding questions you may have. The ASNU Injector Diagnostic System allows us to compare, side by side, fuel injector flow rates and spray patterns. We also service automotive, motorcycle, ATV, jet ski, marine, and outboard fuel injectors. Our cost-effective ultrasonic cleaning and electronic flow testing procedures will restore most fuel injectors to a reliable factory new condition, therefore eliminating the purchase of new and expensive OEM or aftermarket fuel injectors. When all cylinders are operating evenly, you can expect emissions, drive-ability, peak performance and fuel economy to improve.

Does SPI “rebuild” fuel injectors?

Nobody actually rebuilds gasoline injectors, since they are a sealed unit and can’t be totally disassembled. What we do is inspect, test, ultrasonically clean and replace any serviceable parts, (such as filters, o-rings, & pintle caps). Some companies call this rebuilding, or even remanufacturing, and charge over 5 times our price. We replace all the parts that can be replaced. The truth is, you are getting the same thing.

Why should I have my injectors serviced?

If you have your injectors out for any reason, you should have them professionally serviced. The tips clog from solid deposits in the fuel and the filters become restrictive. On car cleaning won’t unclog a stuffy filter. When your injector is performing like new, it improves tail pipe emissions, fuel economy, power and cold start dependability.

I’m replacing or rebuilding my engine, should I buy new injectors?

You should only buy new injectors if your old ones have case leaks or electrical problems. You should have your injectors serviced to make sure you don’t lean out a cylinder on your new engine and ruin it. Most warranty’s won’t cover an engine failure caused by a lean condition. We provide you with a computer report to prove to your engine company your injector’s performance.

Can you return the old used parts that have been replaced?

Yes, we can, and do return them. It is standard practice to return these parts. Please make sure you include the original parts that came from the injectors being serviced. Sometimes these parts tell us a story about the injectors being serviced. If you were experiencing a leak and remove all o-rings before sending them in for service, we would not be able to tell you where the leak was coming from.
